Peter Pan collar dress - New Look
Owl necklace - Topshop

Hiyaaa. Well today I would've done an outfit post but unfortunately my camera has been fustrating me again. Today I had a little spend which I really, really shouldn't have but I did. I bought this navy peter pan collar jersey dress in the New Look sale for £8. I'm not totally convinced atm (sale items are non-refundable), sure it looks okay on the top half, but you know when you either love something straight away or you don't. It's incredibly comfy to wear but I'm just not sure whether it looks okay and suits me. I also bought a pack of two plaited belts. I've been after a tan one for a while and this came with a black one as well so I decided to go for it.

RIP Primark Loafers I am gutted to announce that after merely a few weeks wear, my tan Primark loafers bit the dust. I don't know whether it was the quality or more due to the fact that I have shoe-destroying feet, seriously. Don't get me wrong, I think these loafers look fantastic and are a great price but within the first wear the tassles came off and the tan material became watermarked. Then, after a couple of nights out on the town they became well and truly ruined, the soles came away from the shoe itself, so I gave up and threw them in the bin. Perhaps it was my carelessness, I just don't know but all I know now is that I'm again on the hunt for another pair of loafers.

  1. This is a beautiful picture :)hairs looking sharp ;) x

  2. ooh i really wanted some primark loafers but i always wreak shoes as well so maybe i should invest in a better quality pair?

  3. ooh and just to let you know i've given you a versatile blogger award, the post is scheduled for tomorrow but i'm away so I thought I'd let you know in advance!

  4. wow! that's amazing. thank you so much! :D

also, I'd definitely go for another pair. I have a pair of primark brogues in the same tan colour and they get a bit watermarked too, but they have lasted a lot longer than the loafers did.

  5. I think you look great, from what I can see! I hate when you don't absolutely LOVE something...I've gotten pretty good at not buying something unless I totally love it and will wear it for sure. I think the Peter Pan collar trend is great on others, but not for me! It seems to suit you well, though!

Sorry to hear about your loafer mishap. I tend to stick to more expensive shoes for this reason (I'm hard on my stuff)...but they still die sometimes. :|

Hope your week is going well!

  6. i'm currently on a mission for some loafers too. i had the primark ones but sold them in attempt to buy some shoes that will last - i knew the primark ones would fall apart :( sad because they were lovely xo

  7. I love your hair!!
